TFI supports extending the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) program developed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and now urges Congress to act quickly to restore full operation of the CFATS program.
The fertilizer industry is committed to the safe and secure handling of all of all fertilizers. The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) the Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) and ResponsibleAg developed Ammonium nitrate storage and handling guidelines in 2018.
